1.Acceptance

By using GuardX402 you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2.What GuardX402 is

GuardX402 is a developer tool that provides policy checking and audit logging for AI agent x402 payments. It is not a financial institution, payment processor, or custodian of funds.

3.What GuardX402 is NOT responsible for

  • ·GuardX402 checks payments against YOUR configured policies. If your policy is misconfigured, GuardX402 will enforce the misconfigured policy.
  • ·GuardX402 is NOT responsible for any USDC lost, overspent, or misdirected by your AI agents.
  • ·USDC transactions on Solana and Base are irreversible. GuardX402 cannot reverse, refund, or recover any on-chain payment.
  • ·GuardX402 is NOT responsible for any downtime, service interruptions, or bugs that result in payments being approved or blocked incorrectly.
  • ·GuardX402 is NOT financial or legal advice.

4.Your responsibilities

  • ·You are responsible for configuring your agent spend policies correctly.
  • ·You are responsible for the actions of your AI agents.
  • ·You are responsible for securing your GuardX402 API keys.
  • ·You must not use GuardX402 for illegal purposes or to facilitate fraud.
  • ·You must not attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or abuse the service.

5.API Keys

  • ·Your API keys grant access to your GuardX402 account. Keep them secret.
  • ·If a key is compromised, rotate it immediately from your dashboard.
  • ·GuardX402 is not liable for unauthorized use of your API keys.

6.Service availability

  • ·GuardX402 is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee.
  • ·We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • ⚠If GuardX402 is unavailable, your agents may not be able to check payments — build appropriate fallbacks.

7.Subscription and billing

  • ✓Free plan is free forever with stated limits.
  • ·Pro plan is $49/mo billed monthly via Crossmint.
  • ·Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
  • ·No refunds for partial months.
  • ·We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

8.Termination

  • ·We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • ·You can delete your account at any time.

9.Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUARDX402 AND ITS CREATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USDC, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

11.Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
